CHILD KILLED WHILE WALKING TO SCHOOL
A 7-year-old Korki Primary School student, Saing Sovannaroth, died instantly in an accident that happened on National Road 1, in Korki commune, Kien Svay district, Kandal province on Wednesday morning while he was walking to school with his brother. He was hit head-on by a speeding motorbike that was being driven by Ly Menghak, a 19-year-old male living in Khsom village, Banteay Daek commune, Kien Svay district.

6-YR-OLD RUN OVER BY TRUCK, KILLED
A 6-year-old girl was run over by a truck and died instantly from a fractured skull. She jumped down onto the road to pick up a hat that had been blown off her mother's head while they were riding a bicycle. Police said the accident happened on National Road 5 in Morn Chae village, Prey Nhy commune, Pursat town, on Tuesday evening.
