Road traffic accident in Phnom Penh during Water Festival

Road traffic accident killed 5 persons during just 3 days of Water Festival 2008 from 11-13 November.
Road traffic accident is a major health issue in Cambodia society.

1- Fatality: 5

2- Serious injury: 18

3- Slight injury: 07

B- There are 14 cases

1- Motorbike and car 03 cases

2- Motorbike and cycle 08 cases

3- Motorbike and pedestrian 03 cases

C- Vehicle involved damage:

1- Car 02 unit

2- Motorbike 24 unit

D- Cause of accident:

1- Over speeding 07 cases

2- Drunk driving 01 case

3- Opposite direction flow 06 case

E- By Khan:

1- Russey Keo 01 case

2- Chamkamon 01 case

3- Toul Kor 01 case

4- Doun Penh 07 cases

5- Mean chey 04 cases
